Their is a very good reference available that we use to help you determine your master fee schedule. Each procedure that is done in your office has been given an RVU; a relative value unit. That number is factored in with other variables in order for the Medicare system to determine what it uses for procedure reimbursement, called the RBRVS, or resource based relative value scale system.
As a discounted $20 benefit of your membership, ($40 for non-members), and upon your request, we can take the value you wish to charge for a code like 98940, enter it into our computer program, and make you a multi-page, customized master fee schedule that is both fair to you and to your patients. The code system includes over 100 cpt procedures and modifiers for you to use to alter your fees as needed on an individual basis, which are included for your review.
